New Love?

Our baby is soooo excited to ride his new horse! He got a new horse to ride at the JR. Rodeoes. His name is Chief and is already LOVED!!!! He gets to my room after school and the begging to get home to ride Chief...starts. Hopefully, this is 'Jett's thing' and he enjoys it. We enjoy our time with our horses so much we hope Jett can share our passion.

Teacher of the Year for Royal

My friend and team teacher Jan Clark received "Teacher of the Year" for Royal School District. This has been a long time coming -- 37 years! She is a absolutely fabulous teacher...like Mr. Jaderlund said last night she has just gotten better. She truly enjoys teaching our sixth grade students. She has taught me SOOOO much...she has been one of the many people that has guided through all of the good stuff ...first year of teaching, grades, knowing what to do in certain situations and most importantly how to juggle being a working mom. I love ya, Jan! Congrads, well deserved!

Easter

Our Easter started on Saturday with a egg hunt...and then Sunday we woke up and had the Easter Bunny show up and the boys enjoyed that...and then we headed to Pendleton for some roping and our favorite restaurant -- we ate at Hamley's for Easter dinner...'yes, I know I should have made dinner.' But this was sooo nice not having to clean up or worry about my house or anything else....when I get a 'dream home' with a dishwasher I will worry about making dinners!
